Zionist forces kill Palestinian, injure 4 in Tulkarm raid
A Palestinian was killed and four others were injured by zionist army gunfire last night in an Israeli military raid of Tulkarm refugee camp in the north of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian killed was identified as Mahmoud Jihad Jarad, 23. He was shot in the chest and died of his wounds. Four others were injured in the abdomen, pelvis, foot, and shoulder.
The raid took place at around 11pm local time. zionist troops entered the camp and opened fire on a group of Palestinians. Jarad was killed and the four others were injured.
The zionist military said that the raid was carried out in response to a shooting attack earlier in the day. However, Palestinian witnesses said that the raid was unprovoked.
The killing of Jarad is the latest in a series of Palestinian deaths at the hands of Israeli forces. At least 220 Palestinians have been killed by zionist occupation forces since the beginning of the year, which is the highest seven-month average since the end of the Second Palestinian Intifda in 2005.
