Turkish President Erdoğan receives IUMS delegation in Ankara
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received a delegation from the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) at the Presidential Complex.
The Secretary-General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars Ali Mohiuddin Al Qaradaghi, along with his delegation, President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş and President of the Institute of Islamic Thought Mehmet Görmez was present at the meeting.
The International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) is an independent non-governmental organization that aims to promote and foster Islamic scholarship and unity among Muslims. It was established in 2004 in conjunction with a conference held in Qatar. The organization's founding members include prominent Islamic scholars and clerics from various parts of the world.
The IUMS seeks to address contemporary issues facing the Muslim world through scholarly discussions, research, and advocacy.
