Turkish family minister meets with her Japanese counterpart at G20 conference
Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, the Minister of Family and Social Services of Türkiye, recently held a meeting with Ogura Masanobu, the Minister of Child Policy and Women's Empowerment of Japan.
The meeting took place in India, where Göktaş was attending the G20 Ministerial Conference on Women's Empowerment.
In a statement shared on her social media account, Minister Göktaş said: "On the second day of the G20 Ministerial Conference on Women's Empowerment, we had a meeting with Ogura Masanobu, Japan's Minister for Child Policy and Women's Empowerment. I believe that the meeting, in which we shared our mutual experiences on women, children and family policies, will contribute to the policy-making perspectives of the G20 countries.”
