The rally aimed to denounce the increasing attacks on the Holy Quran, with essential messages conveyed to the Islamic ummah and leaders of Muslim countries, urging them to take a united stand against the despicable acts.

Among the prominent participants was Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, the Chairman of HÜDA PAR (Free Cause Party), and other esteemed members of the religious community. The event resonated with passionate chants of takbirs and featured banners unfurled against the enemies of Islam. A poster honoring the late HUDA PAR Adana Provincial Secretary, Sacit Pişgin, who was martyred during prayers in Adana, was displayed in the rally square, evoking emotions among the attendees.

In a powerful speech, HUDA PAR Mersin MP Faruk Dinç extended greetings to the crowd before Prophet Sevdalıları President Adnan Akgönül read out the foundation's message. The full text of the message conveyed strong condemnation of the systematic attacks on the Holy Quran in European countries, particularly in Sweden and Denmark. The message attributed these acts to Islamophobia and stated that they were reminiscent of the historical Crusader attacks, with alleged involvement from the US and Zionists.

The foundation called on all Muslims to unite their hearts and voices against the insults and attacks on the Holy Quran and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Attendees were urged to display effective reactions to these vile acts and protect their sacred places. They were also encouraged to embrace the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah more fervently and make Islam's resilience and eternal light evident to those who seek to undermine it.

The message also called upon Muslim scholars, intellectuals, and Islamic NGOs to raise public awareness through meetings, conferences, and events both nationally and internationally. However, it emphasized that mere demonstrations were insufficient and urged state administrators to take concrete actions against the countries responsible for the attacks.

Addressing the rulers of Muslim countries, the foundation called for more than just condemnations and suggested cutting political, military, and economic ties with Sweden and Denmark, as well as reevaluating membership in the European Union. Additionally, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was urged to take the matter more seriously and convene to take decisive joint actions against the aggressor countries, demonstrating the unity and solidarity of the Muslim Ummah.

The message emphasized that despite the attacks, the Holy Quran is divinely protected until the Day of Judgment, but the duty and responsibility lie with Muslims to actively safeguard it. The foundation concluded with prayers for divine guidance and support in protecting Islam, the Holy Quran, and the Sunnah.

The "Respect for the Quran Rally" marked a powerful display of unity and determination among the attendees to stand against Islamophobia and protect their sacred beliefs. The event is expected to have a lasting impact on the community and spur further discussions on safeguarding the Holy Quran's sanctity and the values it represents. (ILKHA)
