Turkish economic confidence index declines to 99.3 in July
The Turkish economic confidence index experienced a decline in July, falling to 99.3 from 101.1 in June, according to a statement released by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Friday.
The overall economic confidence index witnessed a 1.8% decrease, reflecting the prevailing economic sentiment in the country.
The consumer confidence index dropped significantly by 5.9% to reach 80.1, while the real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index decreased by 0.8%, settling at 104.9.
Among other sectors, the services confidence index decreased by 0.6%, reaching 117.3, and the retail trade confidence index saw a decline of 2.6%, standing at 114.7.
Furthermore, the construction confidence index also registered a decrease of 0.9%, settling at 88.1 in July compared to the previous month. (ILKHA)
