Nine killed in civilian plane crash in Sudan
A civilian plane crashed in Sudan on Sunday evening, killing nine people, including four soldiers.
The army said the crash was due to "technical" reasons.
The plane, an Antonov, was flying from Port Sudan to Khartoum when it crashed shortly after takeoff. A child was the only survivor of the crash.
Port Sudan is on the east coast of Sudan, largely spared by the country's ongoing civil war. The airport in Port Sudan is the only one still working in Sudan due to the conflict.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. (ILKHA)
