Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan aims to set example for transparency in region
The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of Afghanistan, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, met with the chief of the Supreme Audit Office, Mawlavi Mohammad Mohsen, on Monday.
During the meeting, Hanafi expressed that since the return of the Islamic Emirate to power, administrative corruption has been eradicated, and transparency has been established in government offices.
Mohsen emphasized the bureau's vital role in ensuring transparency across all government units. He stated that regular inspections are carried out to address any irregularities that may arise.
Mohsen also highlighted their ongoing efforts to promote transparency in all ministries and departments and combat corruption, following the directives of the leaders of the Islamic Emirate.
Hanafi commended the Supreme Audit Office for its effective measures in combating corruption and promoting transparency. He encouraged the Office's authorities to continue their diligent work, aiming for a better evaluation of governmental affairs, ultimately setting an example for transparency in the region.
Hanafi also expressed pride in the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's swift achievements in eliminating administrative corruption and ensuring transparency in a short period. He credited the round-the-clock efforts of departments like the Supreme Audit Office for this significant accomplishment, which adds to the honor of the new administration. (ILKHA)
