4 Pakistani soldiers killed, 5 injured in Balochistan attack
Four Pakistan Army soldiers were killed and five others were critically injured on Wednesday after militants attacked the Zhob garrison in northern Balochistan.
The attack was carried out by militants, who were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the security forces remain determined to thwart all such attempts at destroying the peace of Balochistan and Pakistan.
Last week, two security personnel were killed and another soldier was injured during an exchange of fire with terrorists at Balor area in Balochistan.
The ISPR said that a combat patrol of security forces was initiated in general areas of Balor, after credible intelligence with respect to the movement of an armed group in Hoshab area.
The group was linked with firing incidents on security forces and civilians, as well as planting improvised explosive devices.
The ISPR said that the security forces remain committed to eliminating all forms of terrorism in the country. (ILKHA)
