A 4.0 magnitude earthquake strikes off Türkiye's northwestern coast
The offshore quake took place off the coast of the Ayvacık district of Türkiye’s northwestern Çanakkale, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.

The earthquake occurred at around 12:52 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 39.373 degrees north and a longitude of 26.278 degrees east, and a depth of 7 km.
There were no immediate reports of damages or casualties after the earthquake. (ILKHA)
