He further pointed out the ongoing attempts to smuggle drugs across the Syrian border, citing the seizure of more than 65 million Captagon pills in the past two years.

Safadi stressed the global threat posed by industrial drugs and the substantial resources available to manufacturers and smugglers, emphasizing the need for a unified international approach. He also underlined Jordan's willingness to cooperate in combating the spread of drugs.
