During a press conference held at the headquarters of Hope Caravan Foundation, Cengiz Kurtaran, the head of the foundation, shared the activity report on behalf of the four organizations.

He highlighted their ongoing sacrificial work in earthquake-stricken areas within Türkiye and their distribution of 21,494 sacrificial shares donated by benevolent individuals in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Through meticulous planning and coordination, the organizations were able to obtain the 450 tons of meat and provide it to 750,000 people in need.

Kurtaran emphasized that the organizations aimed to ensure that the sacrificial worship, which is a means of drawing closer to Allah, was performed correctly, in a healthy and hygienic environment. To achieve this, they worked closely with veterinarians to conduct the purchase of sacrificial animals, both domestically and internationally, ensuring that the animals met the criteria for being sacrificial animals.

The report highlighted the organizations' commitment to addressing the needs of the earthquake-stricken region within Turkey. Priority was given to the provinces most affected by the earthquakes, including Adıyaman, Hatay, Malatya, and Kahramanmaraş. The sacrificial meat obtained from animals slaughtered in these regions was distributed to the people living in container cities and tent camps. Additionally, the organizations reached out to identified needy families throughout the country, delivering sacrificial meat to alleviate their hardships.

In addition to their efforts within Türkiye, the organizations extended their support to numerous countries in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Kurtaran expressed their satisfaction in being able to bring the blessings of the sacrificial offering to their brothers and sisters in need. They performed sacrificial slaughters in countries such as Afghanistan, Rohingya camps in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Somalia, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Mali, Togo, Benin, Chad, Burkina Faso, Uganda, Burundi, Kenya, Cameroon, Nigeria, Gaza, Palestine, and Yemen. The collective effort of the four organizations resulted in the distribution of 21,494 shares, benefiting approximately 143,293 families, totaling around 750,000 individuals.

Kurtaran expressed gratitude to the generous donors who made the sacrificial offering possible and extended appreciation to all the members and volunteers who worked tirelessly day and night to ensure its success. He prayed for multiplied rewards for their noble efforts and for the acceptance of the sacrifices made for the sake of Allah. The report concluded with congratulations to all brothers and sisters on Eid al-Adha celebrations and a heartfelt prayer for a future free from natural disasters and wars.

The collaborative efforts of Hope Caravan Foundation, European Orphan Hand, Orphans Foundations and IHO Ebrar have demonstrated the power of collective action and the impact it can have on the lives of those in need. Their dedication to fulfilling sacrificial pledges and their commitment to delivering aid to regions affected by natural disasters have brought hope and relief to thousands of individuals and families. Their work serves as a reminder of the importance of generosity, empathy, and solidarity. (ILKHA)
