Death toll from zionist aggression on Jenin rises to 8
At least eight Palestinians were killed and more than 50 others injured during an ongoing large-scale zionist regime’s air and land assault on the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
According to local sources, three of the deaths were caused by airstrikes.
The number of fatalities is expected to rise as at least 10 Palestinians have been critically wounded in the attacks.
Among those killed were Samih Firas Abu al-Wafa, Husam Mohammad Abu Deibeh, and Aws al-Hanoun, who all suffered fatal gunshot wounds to the chest, and Nour Eddin Husam Marshoud, who was fatally shot in the head.
The assault on Jenin commenced after midnight and involved airstrikes followed by a significant military operation with dozens of military vehicles and several hundred soldiers targeting the city, with a particular focus on its refugee camp.
Local officials reported that the zionist army’s bulldozers had destroyed several streets in the camp, leading to restricted movement of cars and ambulances. (ILKHA)
