Türkiye’s Presidential Cabinet to meet Monday to discuss key issues
The Turkish Presidential Cabinet will meet on Monday in Ankara under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The cabinet will discuss a number of important issues, including the increase in civil servant and pension salaries, Sweden's NATO membership, and a bill that would limit rent increases to 25% and provide tax exemptions for young people who purchase their first computers and phones.
The upper limit on rent increases, which was 25%, expired on July 1st. The cabinet is expected to discuss whether to maintain the 25% cap on rent increases for one year starting on July 2nd, 2023. (ILKHA)
