Afghan Hajj Minister participates in hajj closing ceremony
Sheikh Dr. Mawlavi Noor Mohammad Saqib, the Acting Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, recently attended the closing ceremony of the Hajj rituals.
The ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, marked the successful conclusion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
Following the completion of the Hajj rituals, a special meeting was convened, bringing together heads of delegations from various Islamic countries.
The Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs announced the participation of Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan al-Rabiah, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, who praised Minister Saqib for his effective management and preparation of the Afghan pilgrims.
In response, Minister Saqib expressed gratitude towards the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia for their exceptional services extended to Afghan pilgrims in the sacred cities of Mecca and Medina.
During a separate meeting between the Acting Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs of the Islamic Emirate and the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, discussions were held regarding future Hajj procedures and the potential enhancement of facilities for Afghan pilgrims in the upcoming years. (ILKHA)
