Orphans Foundation provides sacrificial meat to needy families in Uganda
The Orphans Foundation (Yetimler Vakfı) has distributed sacrificial meat to impoverished families in Uganda, thanks to the generous donations from benefactors.
As part of the Eid al-Adha celebrations, four Islamic charitable organizations, namely Hope Caravan, European Orphan Hand, IHO Ebrar, and Orphans Foundation, are steadfast in their mission to bring hope and support to those in need, both domestically in Türkiye and abroad.
In alignment with this initiative, Orphans Foundation has successfully delivered sacrificial meat to hundreds of underprivileged, disadvantaged, and orphaned families residing in Mbale, a city located 300 kilometers away from Uganda's capital, Kampala.
Apart from the distribution of sacrificial meat, representatives from the foundation have generously gifted Elif Ba booklets, copies of the Holy Quran, and headscarves to children attending mosque-based educational programs.
Speaking to Ilke News Agency about their humanitarian endeavors in Uganda, Abdulvahap Kaplan, an official from Orphans Foundation, expressed sincere appreciation for the contributions and donations made by compassionate individuals.
He emphasized that their collective support enabled the transportation of these essential resources to Uganda, ultimately assisting hundreds of vulnerable families in need. (ILKHA)
