During an interview with al-Aqsa Voice radio on Thursday, Sheikh Sabri expressed his dismay over the persistent persecution of Jerusalemite figures and activists who courageously defend the revered Aqsa Mosque.

Known for his unwavering support for Occupied Jerusalem and the protection of the Aqsa Mosque, the Sheikh has faced numerous summonses, arrests, and interrogations by Israeli authorities in the past.

This travel ban imposed by the zionist police is not the first of its kind for Sheikh Sabri. Previously, he has been barred from entering the Aqsa Mosque on multiple occasions, as well as traveling abroad.

The Sheikh's ongoing dedication to advocating for the rights of Occupied Jerusalem and the sacred Aqsa Mosque has made him a prominent figure in the region. His efforts have undoubtedly attracted the attention and concern of local and international communities, who view his banishment as a further attempt to suppress voices defending the cultural and religious heritage of the region.

The travel ban, enforced by zionist authorities, has raised questions about the right to freedom of movement and expression in Occupied Jerusalem. Critics argue that such actions only serve to stifle dissent and hinder efforts to foster understanding and peaceful coexistence in the region.

As this situation continues to unfold, the international community will be closely monitoring the treatment of Sheikh Sabri and others who advocate for the preservation of the Aqsa Mosque and the rights of the people of Occupied Jerusalem. (ILKHA)
