Fidan expressed his criticism towards Swedish authorities for allowing such a provocative act to take place.

Taking to Twitter, Fidan voiced his strong disapproval of the reprehensible incident involving the Quran in Sweden. He stated: "I condemn the despicable act committed in Sweden against our holy book, the Quran, on the first day of Eid al-Adha! It is unacceptable for these anti-Islamic acts to be permitted under the guise of freedom of expression. To tolerate such heinous acts is to be complicit."

The distressing event unfolded in Stockholm, where an individual named Salwan Momika, reportedly of Iraqi origin, burned a copy of the Holy Quran in front of the Stockholm Mosque under the protection of the police.

Despite objections from onlookers, Momika callously threw the Quran on the ground, stepped on it, uttered offensive words against Islam, and ultimately set it ablaze.

Recognizing the significance of the incident occurring on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Adha, the police deployed security forces in front of the Stockholm Mosque to prevent any potential disruptions or further provocations.

The act of burning the Quran, a revered religious symbol, has sparked outrage and demands for accountability from the Muslim community and concerned individuals worldwide. Minister Fidan's condemnation reflects the collective sentiment of those who reject such offensive actions against religious beliefs and advocate for respect and tolerance. (ILKHA)
