Turkey's Directorate of Religious Affairs establishes field hospital in Mecca

Erbaş personally visited the hospital, where he received updates from the Head of the Health Team, Zekeriya Abdulazizoğlu, and the Chief Physician, Murat Türkyılmaz. 

Expressing his well wishes, Erbaş offered roses to the patients and later addressed the press, underlining the significance of health, particularly in the context of pilgrimage.

He assured that the Directorate is striving to provide the best possible care to patients, expressing hope for their speedy recovery and the opportunity to ascend to Arafat.

Furthermore, President Erbaş emphasized the Directorate's organizational capabilities in healthcare facilities. He shared details about the transfer of patients receiving inpatient treatment to the field hospital in Arafat, which allows them to fulfill their religious duties.

Erbaş also visited the Logistics and Service Team Directorates, where he was warmly received by Murat Akdoğan, the Logistics Team Head, and Mahmut Şahin, the Service Team Head, along with their respective teams. During these visits, Erbaş received comprehensive briefings from the team leaders about service operations and preparations for Arafat in Mecca.

Highlighting the vital role of the logistics team, Erbaş stressed the importance of ensuring seamless operations without any disruptions. He reaffirmed the commitment to work diligently until the last pilgrim bids farewell without encountering any issues or problems.

Service Team Head Mahmut Şahin provided Erbaş with detailed information about the services being provided in Mecca.

Erbaş was accompanied during the visits by Deputy President of the Directorate of Religious Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selim Argun, and the Religious Services Attaché in Mecca, Dr. Ahmet Oğuz. (ILKHA)
