This attack, the first of its kind since the 2002 Intifada, has further heightened tensions in the region.

According to local sources, an israeli aircraft launched a missile at a vehicle near the town of Jalama, engulfing it in flames. Swift action from the Palestinian civil defense successfully extinguished the fire. However, their efforts were hindered by Zionist occupation forces, who prevented the removal of the three charred bodies from the burnt vehicle. Disturbingly, ambulances were also denied access to the scene, leading to delays in providing essential medical assistance.

The martyred individuals have been identified as Mohammed Bashar Uweis (28), Suhayb Adnan al-Ghoul (27), and Ashraf Murad Saadi (17), all residents of Jenin. The profound loss of these individuals has deeply impacted the local community.

Meanwhile, reports have emerged of escalating settler violence in the northern West Bank, intensifying an already volatile situation. Under the protection of the Zionist army, hundreds of settlers unleashed a rampage, setting homes, cars, and fields ablaze. In Turmus Ayya, near Ramallah, a Palestinian lost their life as a result of gunshots inflicted by settlers during the unrest. Shockingly, over 60 vehicles and 30 homes have fallen victim to these arson attacks.

The recent drone attack, coupled with the surge in settler violence, has raised concerns about the deteriorating security situation in the West Bank. (ILKHA)
