Palestinian youth fatally shot by zionist forces in Bethlehem
In a tragic incident late on Monday, a Palestinian young man lost his life, and two others sustained injuries during clashes with zionist occupation forces in the town of Husan, located west of Bethlehem.
The Palestinian Health Ministry has identified the martyr as 20-year-old Zakaria Muhammad Zakaria Al-Za'oul, who suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
Rami Hamamreh, the Head of Husan Village Council, confirmed that Israeli forces entered the town, employing excessive live fire and tear gas bombs, triggering a violent confrontation. The clashes escalated, leading to the tragic shooting of a young man in the head, ultimately resulting in his death at a nearby hospital.
Medical sources reported that two additional young men were wounded during the clashes, while a third person was apprehended by zionist occupation forces.
This incident comes on the heels of earlier violence on Monday, where at least five Palestinians, including a 15-year-old, were killed when israeli forces, supported by helicopters, targeted the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank. (ILKHA)
