Five people detained in Hakkâri, Türkiye on charges of aiding PKK
Police have detained five individuals on accusations of aiding and abetting the PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) and providing assistance to the organization in Türkiye’s eastern Hakkari province.
According to an official statement from the Governor's Office, the detainees were captured as a result of investigations aimed at shedding light on unsolved cases.
The suspects are accused of knowingly and willingly aiding and supporting the PKK/KCK armed organization in connection with a kidnapping incident that took place in 2014 in Hakkâri's Yüksekova district.
The authorities are actively pursuing the case, and further information is expected to be revealed as the investigation progresses. (ILKHA)
