This marks the fifth government formed under his leadership since he assumed office on July 24, 2022. The newly formed government consists of 15 ministers, including five newcomers.

The noteworthy reappointments include Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. Additionally, Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah will continue serving as the first Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, while Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah retains his position as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The previous government had submitted its resignation to Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, on June 7. Consequently, a royal decree was issued on June 13 to reappoint Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as the Prime Minister of Kuwait.
