The fire erupted in a one-story log house located in the village of Saitovo, Tukaevsky district. Prompted by a distress call at 13:17, emergency services rushed to the scene to combat the raging flames.
Tragically, the intense blaze resulted in the loss of seven lives, with four of the victims being children. Authorities revealed that a total of eight individuals resided in the house, which was described as a dysfunctional family.
The mother of the children managed to escape the engulfed residence, according to statements from the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Firefighters swiftly launched efforts to extinguish the flames, and by 14:05, they had successfully contained the fire. Just ten minutes later, at 14:15, the open flames were fully extinguished, bringing some relief to the scene.
