22 US service members injured in helicopter accident in northeast Syria
According to the US military, a helicopter accident in northeast Syria has resulted in 22 US service members sustaining injuries.
The incident, described as a "mishap," occurred without any reported enemy fire at the time. The injured personnel are currently receiving medical treatment, with 10 of them being evacuated to higher care facilities located outside of the US Central Command Area of Responsibility.
An ongoing investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident. However, it has been confirmed by the military that no enemy fire was involved in the incident.
