According to Serhii Lysak, the regional governor, at least three people have been killed, and 25 others are wounded, with 19 of them requiring hospitalization.

The attack, which specifically targeted civilian infrastructure, has prompted air raid alerts throughout Ukraine. In another part of the city, seven people sustained injuries during the same assault. Concerns are growing that there may still be individuals trapped under the rubble.

President Volodymyr Zelensky, a native of Kryvyi Rih, swiftly condemned the Russian aggression and expressed his deepest condolences to those who lost loved ones in the devastating attack.

“In yet another act of aggression, Russian terrorists continue their war against residential buildings, ordinary cities, and people. Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries. The rescue operation in Kryvyi Rih is ongoing. My condolences go out to everyone who has lost their loved ones,” Zelensky wrote on Twitter.

Zelensky also pledged that the perpetrators responsible for these acts of terrorism will face justice.

The morning update from Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff revealed alarming details about the Russian forces' offensive. Fourteen X-101/555 cruise missiles were launched, but Ukraine's air defense systems successfully intercepted ten of them, averting further destruction. (ILKHA)
