HÜDA PAR deputies apply to switch to their own party
Four members of the HÜDA PAR (Free Cause Party) have formally requested to switch their party affiliation, following their initial entry into the Parliament through the AK Party lists during the May 14th general elections.
The deputies have submitted petitions to the Presidency of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), expressing their intention to return to their original party.
Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, the leader of HÜDA PAR, has successfully completed the transition process and is now officially recognized as an HÜDA PAR deputy on the TBMM website.
Additionally, Faruk Dinç, Serkan Ramanlı, and Şahzade Demir, all deputies from HÜDA PAR, have also filed similar petitions seeking to rejoin their party. However, their current listing as independent deputies is temporary, pending the completion of necessary official procedures.
Once these formalities are finalized, the three deputies will resume their positions as representatives of HÜDA PAR in the Parliament.
The political shift has garnered attention, and observers are eagerly awaiting an official statement from HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu regarding the motives behind the deputies' departure from the AK Party and their subsequent transition back to their own party. (ILKHA)
