According to Palestine data center “Mu’ti”, israel has demolished 136 Palestinian homes and residential apartments since the beginning of the year, ten of which belong to families of Palestinian martyrs or prisoners.

“Israel razed 19 structures in Jericho, 18 in al-Khalil, seven in Bethlehem, three in Jenin, four in Ramallah, and two in Tubas and Qalqilya, in addition to 64 in Jerusalem,” Mu’ti underlined.

It pointed out that 112 agricultural structures or stores were destroyed last May, adding that 29 properties of Palestinian citizens were confiscated.

The policy of demolishing Palestinians' houses by zionist regime has sparked widespread condemnation and drawn international attention. Governments, human rights organizations, and the United Nations have expressed their concerns, viewing these actions as violations of international law and exacerbating an already challenging humanitarian situation.

Human rights organizations such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have strongly condemned the demolitions, citing forced displacement and property loss for Palestinians. Civil society movements and activists worldwide have staged protests and campaigns to raise awareness and show solidarity with Palestinians. Legal challenges have also been pursued to contest the demolitions and seek justice for affected individuals.

The reactions against israeli policies reflect a global concern for the human rights and well-being of Palestinians, as efforts are made to address these issues through diplomatic, legal, and grassroots activism. (ILKHA)
