Local sources report that a total of 110 soldiers and bureaucrats have been apprehended during the operation, which is part of an extensive investigation currently underway in the country.

In a swift response to the threat against the elected government, nationwide operations were conducted against the coup plotters in Kyrgyzstan. According to the latest reports from the country's press, the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan simultaneously launched operations today to target individuals involved in the attempted coup.

The operations, carried out in multiple locations across the country, resulted in the detention of individuals suspected of being part of the coup plot. Initial information suggests that 110 soldiers and bureaucrats have been taken into custody.

Media outlets in Kyrgyzstan have shared video footage of the operation, highlighting the existence of a group within the country plotting to overthrow the government led by President Caparov. However, detailed information about the detained individuals has not yet been disclosed by Kyrgyz security forces.

This recent incident follows a previous episode in 2021 when Kyrgyz MP Baktybek Jatigenov was arrested on suspicion of planning a coup. It was reported at the time that Jatigenov and Askat Temraliyev, the head of the El Intımagı Association, had entered into a secret agreement to orchestrate protests in the capital city of Bishkek. It was later uncovered that Jatigenov intended to seize power through these protests, leading to his subsequent arrest and detention.

The situation in Kyrgyzstan remains tense as authorities continue to investigate the attempted coup and take necessary measures to ensure stability and uphold the democratic process.
