Hamas delegation arrives in Cairo to discuss Palestinian developments
A high-ranking delegation from Hamas, headed by Ismail Haniyeh, the Chairman of the movement's political bureau, arrived in Cairo on Saturday evening.
The visit comes at the invitation of Egypt, aiming to hold discussions with Egyptian officials regarding the latest political and on-ground developments pertaining to the Palestinian issue.
The Hamas delegation includes Saleh al-Arouri, the deputy chairman of the movement's political bureau, as well as Khaled Mishaal, the head of the political bureau abroad.
Additionally, Khalil al-Hayya and Rawhi Mushtaha, members of Hamas's political bureau, are also part of the delegation.
During their stay in Cairo, the Hamas representatives will engage in talks with Egyptian officials to exchange views and assessments on the current state of affairs in Palestine.
The discussions will likely cover various aspects, including the ongoing zionist attacks on Palestinian people, regional dynamics, and potential avenues for advancing the Palestinian cause.
The visit of the Hamas delegation is expected to further strengthen the communication channels between Hamas and Egyptian authorities, fostering dialogue and cooperation in pursuit of common goals. (ILKHA)
