Kurdistan Region delegation to visit Iran, aiming to boost bilateral relations

During the visit, the delegation will engage in meetings with Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Commercial Affairs, with the primary objective of fostering closer relations between the Kurdistan Region and Iran, particularly in the cultural and economic domains.

Sabir Hussein, spokesperson for Erbil province, highlighted that the delegation plans to visit Urmia, where they will hold multiple meetings with local city officials. Additionally, they will also meet with the governors of Kermanshah and Sanandaj.

The visit serves as a significant opportunity to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and Iran. By emphasizing cultural and economic sectors, the delegation aims to enhance collaboration and cooperation between the two regions.

Comprising representatives from various general directorates of KRG's independent administrations, the Kurdistan Region delegation is well-equipped to facilitate meaningful discussions and explore avenues for mutual benefit.
