S-PPI increased by 3.90% on monthly basis, by 24.84% on December of the previous year basis, by 71.81% on same month of the previous year basis and by 87.00% on the twelve months moving averages basis in April 2023.

Transportation and storage services increased by 56.90% annually

The indices increased by 56.90% for transportation and storage services, by 88.66% for accommodation and food services, by 75.85% for information and communication services, by 76.76% for real estate services, by 95.58% for professional, scientific and technical services, by 89.63% for administrative and support services compared with the previous year.

Transportation and storage services increased by 1.32% monthly

The indices increased by 1.32% for transportation and storage services, by 6.31% for accommodation and food services, by 7.79% for information and communication services, by 5.46% for real estate services, by 4.66% for professional, scientific and technical services, by 6.29% for administrative and support services compared with the previous month.

Compared to general S-PPI, lower annual change observed in 7 subdivisions while 20 subdivisions were higher

The lowest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of service were the indices for water transport services by 9.48%, for air transport services by 48.36%, for warehousing and support services for transportation by 55.55%.

On the other hand, the highest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of service were indices for programming and broadcasting services by 141.17%, for advertising and market research services by 130.10%, for employment services by 127.08%.

Compared to general S-PPI, lower monthly change observed in 9 subdivisions while 18 subdivisions were higher

The highest rates of monthly decrease in S-PPI by subdivisions of service were the indices for water transport services by 1.17%, for scientific research and development services by 0.43%, for land transport services and transport services via pipelines by 0.59%.

On the other hand, the highest rates of monthly increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of service were indices for programming and broadcasting services by 21.98%, for advertising and market research services by 12.59%, for motion picture, video, tv programme production, sound recording and music publishing by 11.99%.
