Haniyeh phones Erdogan following election victory
Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has phoned Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to congratulate him on his re-election as the country's president.

Wishing Türkiye a future of prosperity under Erdogan's rule, the Hamas chief said that he is confident that the Turkish president's positions would be supportive of the Palestinian people and their unwavering rights.
Haniyeh also offered his congratulations to the Turkish people on the success of the election process.
Erdogan, in turn, thanked Haniyeh for the call, stressing that he is committed to his supportive position towards the Palestinian people and their just rights. (ILKHA)
