Erdoğan vows tireless efforts in building Türkiye's century
In his address to the citizens of Sivas, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed his commitment to advancing Türkiye towards its goals and building a prosperous future.
He stated that after May 28, Türkiye would witness new opportunities and make significant progress. Erdoğan emphasized his unwavering dedication to working tirelessly on the path to creating Türkiye's Century.
Recalling that he previously had had to postpone a visit to Sivas planned for April 26 due to a health issue, Erdoğan said: “However, Vice President Fuat Oktay, representing me, visited the city and inaugurated the long-awaited high-speed train. As we could not pay the visit in person, we wanted to be with you through our good news and thus we decided to charge no fee for the high-speed train for a period of one month in a bid to share your joy.”
Noting that new doors will open up in front of Türkiye after May 28, Erdoğan stated: “Türkiye will run with much bigger steps and advance much faster towards its goals. We will work tirelessly and without a break on the path to building the Century of Türkiye.”
“We tell one by one in our election declaration what we will do if our nation gives us the mandate to rule the country for another five years,” stressed the President, adding, “We will take important steps in every area including education, health, judiciary, security, transportation, energy, industry, agriculture, tourism and sports. We will absolutely remain committed to our promise to prevent our citizens from being overburdened by inflation. We will address all the hardships that negatively affect our people’s daily life, first and foremost the high cost of living.” (ILKHA)
