Hamas denounces Germany's ban on pro-Palestine activities
Member of Hamas Political Bureau Basim Naim has denounced the German government's ban on pro-Palestine activities, including raising the Palestinian flag, which were planned to be held in commemoration of al-Nakba, the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.
The Hamas official rejected the Federal Republic of Germany's behavior towards the Palestinian issue in recent years that was preceded by criminalizing and prosecuting BDS activists and labelling them as anti-Semites.
“Germany's responsibility and its international position and as it proclaims that it conforms to international law and freedom of expression, all necessitate adopting a pro-justice position in support of the victimized people.”
Naim condemned such “despicable bias towards the Israeli occupation state” in light of the extremist Israeli government, reiterating that such bias “doesn't serve world peace and security”. (ILKHA)
