Fatal ultralight aircraft crash claims two lives in Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Two individuals have died in a crash involving an ultralight aircraft in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
The cause of the accident, which occurred in Linkenheim-Hochstetten in the Karlsruhe district, remains unclear, as stated by the police on Monday night.
The two pilots, aged 44 and 58, tragically lost their lives. Following the incident on Sunday, the Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation was summoned, and the Karlsruhe Criminal Investigation Department will lead the investigation. The authorities have seized debris from the aircraft for further examination.
Using a helicopter, the crash site was located late on Sunday evening. According to local sources, the wreckage will be recovered during the day. (ILKHA)
