In a post on Telegram, the ministry accused the forum of undermining global stability by issuing statements that were unfavorable towards Russia and China.

Moscow's response came after G7 leaders reaffirmed their support for Ukraine and warned Russian President Vladimir Putin, who claimed to have captured the city of Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine, a claim denied by Kyiv.

The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the G7 had experienced an irreversible decline and had become a platform for generating destructive initiatives against global stability under the leadership of the Anglo-Saxon nations.

Additionally, Russia accused the G7 of fueling anti-Russian and anti-Chinese "hysteria" and attempting to impede the development of Moscow's and Beijing's relationships with non-Western states.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy attended the Hiroshima summit as a guest and used the opportunity to urge member nations to continue providing arms and diplomatic support to Kyiv. (ILKHA)
