Bahrain to resume full diplomatic relations with Lebanon
Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed on Saturday that Bahrain will fully restore diplomatic relations with Lebanon, including the appointment and placement of ambassadors in their respective capitals.
The decision aims to enhance the friendly relations between the two nations and their people, while fostering mutual respect. The statement emphasized that this step aligns with the principles outlined in the Charter of the League of Arab States and the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
Last year in October, Gulf states had suspended diplomatic ties with Lebanon following remarks made by the former Information Minister George Kordahi concerning the Yemen conflict. (ILKHA)
