Iran's Foreign Minister reaffirms support for Palestinian people and resistance
The Foreign Minister of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, reiterated Iran's support for the Palestinian people and their resistance during a phone call with Hamas Movement's political bureau chairman, Ismail Haneyya.
The call served as a platform for Amir-Abdollahian to express President Ebrahim Raisi's solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Amir-Abdollahian praised the resilience of the Palestinian people and their resistance in the face of the recent zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip. He acknowledged their steadfastness and their determination to confront the Israeli attacks.
For his part, Haneyya expressed gratitude to the senior Iranian official for reaching out and commended the Islamic Republic for its significant support of the Palestinian cause, emphasizing their just struggle.
Haneyya held zionist entity responsible for the consequences resulting from the assassination of Palestinian leaders and citizens. He further affirmed that the Palestinian resistance factions stand united in their response to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. (ILKHA)
