Fatal collision involving 12 vehicles leaves 7 dead in southern Türkiye
A collision involving 12 vehicles, including 2 police cars, took place in the Pozantı district of Adana, Türkiye.
Tragically, preliminary investigations have revealed that 7 individuals lost their lives, while 7 others sustained injuries in the accident.
The incident occurred on the Adana-Pozantı Highway, heading towards Ankara, where a truck inexplicably caught fire.
Promptly responding to the fire report, firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene.
However, during their efforts to control the fire, a chain reaction of traffic accidents unfolded on the highway.
Approximately 50 meters away from the initial incident, the collision involved the 12 vehicles, including the 2 police cars.
Without delay, local emergency crews intervened following the accident.
