Jordanian Foreign Minister warns that Gaza violence is killing chances of peace

His comments came after a meeting of the Munich Group in Berlin, which was attended by his French, German, and Egyptian counterparts.

The group aimed to stop actions that would undermine peace and resume negotiations based on a two-state solution.

Since Tuesday, zionist regime’s airstrikes have killed 25 Palestinians, including women, children, and four military commanders from the Islamic Jihad movement. In response, Palestinian factions have launched missile attacks on israeli cities, including Tel Aviv.

Safadi stressed that the ongoing violence is dangerous and a continuation of the security deterioration.

He also said that the two-state solution is being undermined day by day and that Israel's security is linked to that of the Palestinians.

The Munich meeting was held amid difficult circumstances, including the killing of Palestinian children and the destruction of homes.

Safadi called for an end to the occupation and measures that undermine peace.

International efforts, led by Egypt, Qatar, and the United Nations, are underway to stop the violence, but so far, there has been no breakthrough.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry also called for international intervention to stop the israeli escalation. (ILKHA)
