The incident took place around 8:40 a.m. when the bus, traveling from Shrikhandi village in Khargone to Indore, collided with the protective railing, causing it to break and ultimately leading to the bus falling onto the bed of Borad river near Dongargaon village.

Authorities were promptly informed, and the injured individuals were transported to the district hospital in Khargone, where many survivors continue to receive treatment.
