In response to the devastating earthquakes that occurred on February 6 along the Türkiye-Syria border, the organization had swiftly delivered essential food aid to the affected individuals.

The European Orphan Hand's representation in France extended their support by providing food parcels and financial assistance to assist the earthquake victims in Malatya on Sunday.

Abdullah Kaya, representing the European Orphan Hand as a volunteer from Paris, the capital of France, expressed their purpose by stating: "We have come here in response to the earthquakes that occurred in February, to both witness the situation firsthand and offer some assistance to the affected victims. The reality is far more challenging than what meets the eye; there is significant hardship and ongoing struggles for the people. It is crucial to support our brothers and sisters affected by the earthquakes not only during the immediate aftermath but also in the long-term recovery phase. As members, volunteers, and philanthropists of the European Orphan Hand, we have willingly brought aid and are committed to ensuring its proper distribution."

Kaya appealed to philanthropists in Europe, stating: "The scale of destruction and suffering here is immense, and we recognized that our fellow brothers and sisters are in dire need of spiritual and material support. We believe it is our responsibility to act as a bridge, facilitating aid to those in need. However, we cannot do this alone and require the support of others to provide ongoing assistance. It is our duty to ensure that those affected are not left to bear the burden of this disaster alone." (ILKHA)
