Pro-Kremlin writer Zakhar Prilepin wounded in car bombing
Zakhar Prilepin, a writer and political activist known for his pro-Kremlin stance, was injured in a car bombing in Nizhny Novgorod on May 6, as reported by the state-run TASS news agency.
Prilepin's driver lost their life in the explosion, which took place in the Nizhny Novgorod region, approximately 400 kilometers east of Moscow.
Prilepin, who was once a left-wing dissident, has since shifted his views and become a prominent supporter of Russian President Vladimir Putin and a vocal advocate for Moscow's intervention in Ukraine.
This incident marks the third bombing involving influential pro-Kremlin figures since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. (ILKHA)
