Addressing the enthusiastic crowd at the rally attended by President Erdoğan, Yapıcıoğlu, who is also a candidate for the Istanbul parliamentary seat on the AK Party list, delivered significant messages about the upcoming elections.

“In less than ten days, we have an upcoming election on May 14th, where we will be selecting our President who will lead our country for the next five years. We will also be electing our representatives for each province in Parliament. This election is not just about choosing leaders for the next five years; it's much more than that. Our decision will have a significant impact on the future of our country for the next century. With the permission of Allah, this election will prepare Turkey for a more prosperous and powerful century, ensuring its unity and togetherness while making its strength recognized worldwide. It will be an election that tears apart the cover of The Economist magazine and creates a new one,” Yapıcıoğlu said.

Yapıcıoğlu emphasized that the public has sentenced the CHP to be in opposition since 1950 and stressed that this conviction will remain permanent, adding:

“The people of Erzurum are well aware of the two candidates running in the upcoming election. On one side, we have a President who has led Turkey successfully for 21 years, while on the other side, we have a candidate from the 7-party alliance formed by the 6-party table and later joined by another party. The CHP, with its divisive policies based on ethnicity and sect, its opposition to the headscarf, its lack of regard for our beliefs and history, and its disdain for our customs, has failed to accomplish even the most basic tasks for the country. The people sent a clear message to them on May 14, 1950, convicting and condemning them to opposition. We hope that this verdict will remain permanent after the elections on May 14, 2023.” (ILKHA)
