Bus crash in Egypt kills at least 14 and injures 25
At least 14 people have been killed and 25 injured after a passenger bus collided with a slow-moving truck on a highway in the southwestern province of New Valley, Egypt.

The governor of the province, Mohamed El-Zamlout, confirmed the incident and stated that 17 ambulances were sent to the scene to transfer the victims to nearby hospitals and morgues. It is not clear what caused the accident.
According to local sources, the bus crashed into the truck, which was almost parked on the road. The bus was carrying 45 passengers who were traveling to Cairo.
Egypt has a poor transportation safety record, and thousands of people die in traffic accidents each year, mostly due to speeding, bad roads, or poor enforcement of traffic laws. (ILKHA)
