Islamic Emirate denies accusations made by intelligence officer in book
The spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, Zabihullah Mujahid, has issued a statement refuting the claims made in a book by an intelligence officer named Hassan Abbas.
The book, titled "The Return of the Taliban," accused officials of the Islamic Emirate of being under the control of another country's military and intelligence.
Mujahid dismissed the claims as baseless and said that the Islamic Emirate has a proud history of independence and freedom.
He suggested that Abbas may have been a mercenary hired by an intelligence agency to spread false information.
Mujahid emphasized that the Islamic Emirate is committed to maintaining its independence and will not involve itself with any foreign intelligence networks.
He stated that the people of Afghanistan have faith in their officials and that attempts to undermine the government will not succeed.” (ILKHA)
