In a tweet, he praised Ankara's foreign policy as "entrepreneurial, humanitarian, and effective" during the Russia-Ukraine war.

The Istanbul grain deal, which was signed by Turkey, the UN, Russia, and Ukraine in July 2021, helped to resume grain exports from three Ukrainian Black Sea ports that were halted due to the conflict, thereby preventing global food insecurity.

The Turkish Foreign Minister also stated that Turkey helped facilitate prisoner exchanges between Moscow and Kyiv, and facilitated contacts between ROSATOM and IAEA.

Cavusoglu also mentioned the implementation of the Montreux Convention, which regulates maritime traffic through the Turkish Straits.

Türkiye has received widespread praise for its efforts to end the war, which started in February 2021. (ILKHA)
