President Erdogan vows to overcome effects of devastating earthquake
In a Twitter post, Turkish President Erdogan pledged to overcome the devastating effects of the February 6 earthquake in Turkey and provide support to the victims.
He emphasized the importance of not forgetting the earthquake zone and continuing to provide assistance to those affected.
He also stated that millions of people are being accommodated in temporary shelters and new housing areas are being established daily.
Additionally, he mentioned that the government has paid out 30 billion Turkish lira in support to the families of the deceased and provided psychosocial services to millions of people.
Erdogan also noted that the construction process for 125,000 housing units and the foundation of 58,630 housing units has already begun.
Finally, he urged the earthquake victims not to lose hope and trust in the government's efforts to help them. (ILKHA)
