Ukraine prepared for counteroffensive against Russian forces, Defense Minister says
Ukraine's Defense Minister, Oleksii Reznikov, announced that the country is almost fully prepared to launch a counteroffensive against Russian forces, and that they are waiting for the right conditions to proceed.
Reznikov did not provide a specific date for the operation, but stated that they are "globally speaking, to a high percentage ready."
The objective of the operation is to alter the course of the conflict that has been ongoing for 14 months since Russia invaded Ukraine.
The Russian forces currently hold parts of Ukrainian territory in the east, south, and southeast, and the fighting continues in the city of Bakhmut.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg revealed that foreign allies and partners have almost entirely delivered on their promise to supply combat vehicles to Ukraine. (ILKHA)
