Magnitude 4.3 earthquake strikes Türkiye's Sivas province
On Thursday, a magnitude 4.3 earthquake hit the Gürün district in Türkiye’s central Sivas province, over two months since a powerful magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit the country's southern area.
The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of Turkey reported that the earthquake happened at 18:33 TSI and had a depth of 7 km, with the epicenter located at a latitude of 38.809 degrees north and a longitude of 37.338 degrees east.
Nearby provinces such as Adıyaman, Kahramanmaraş, Malatya, Şanlıurfa, and Elazığ felt the tremors, but no reports of damage or casualties were immediately received. (ILKHA)
